Veerangana Avanti Bai Lodhi Autonomous State Medical College (VALASMC), Etah, was established with the vision of providing quality medical education and advanced healthcare services to the people of Etah and the surrounding regions. The foundation stone of the institution was laid by the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh on 26th February 2019, marking a significant step towards strengthening the healthcare infrastructure of the district.
The Government of Uttar Pradesh has allocated a total of 25.92 acres of land for the development of the medical college and its associated teaching hospital. The institution comprises two major campuses designed to support both academic excellence and comprehensive patient care.
The medical college campus, spread across approximately 16.44 acres, houses modern academic and administrative infrastructure, including well-equipped lecture theatres, academic and administrative blocks, an auditorium, student hostels, and residential facilities for faculty and staff. The campus is designed to provide a conducive environment for learning, research, and professional development.
The associated teaching hospital is situated on approximately 9.45 acres of land and is located about 7.44 kilometres from the college campus. The hospital has been developed to serve as a centre for quality healthcare delivery and clinical training. The proposed 300-bedded teaching hospital is equipped with modern medical facilities and includes dedicated infrastructure such as nurses’ hostels, a medical gas pipeline system, mortuary services, and other essential support facilities.
VALASMC, Etah is committed to nurturing competent healthcare professionals while delivering accessible, affordable, and quality healthcare services to the community.
